As a Paralegal, you’ll provide best-in-class support to our Commercial Transactions Legal group. In this highly collaborative role, you’ll work cross-functionally to support domestic and global transactions, enhance efficiency, maintain documentation, contribute legal input, and help develop a comprehensive knowledge management system. You’ll work closely with our Vice President & Associate General Counsel and other attorneys, bringing strong core skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to DraftKings’ growth and success.
Support DraftKings’ commercial transactions, including assisting with the drafting and negotiation of agreements such as non-disclosure agreements, promotion terms, and contest rules.
Assist with our insurance function, including preparing coverage applications and related schedules or supplements.
Facilitate and oversee the agreement execution process.
Act as an operations specialist to help keep the Commercial Transactions team organized and running efficiently.
Design and implement knowledge management systems to ensure legal standards are easily accessible and up to date for stakeholders.
Maintain an accurate database of approved agreement templates, clauses, and intake questionnaires, ensuring version control and audit trails.
Organize and store executed commercial agreements for easy retrieval.
Support additional projects and tasks, as assigned.
4+ years of relevant transactional paralegal experience; in-house public company experience is a plus.
Demonstrated business- and solutions-oriented approach to resolving issues, with sound judgment and keen attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and analytical abilities.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, developing positive relationships with internal stakeholders.
Highly organized self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment with shifting priorities.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects under tight deadlines, navigating ambiguity and conflicting priorities with a problem-solving mindset.
Positive, adaptable attitude and a passion for supporting growing industries.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with DocuSign and LinkSquares (or similar CLM systems) is a plus.

The US hourly rate for this full-time position is 44.62 USD - 55.77 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
