Job Purpose:
The NPI Specialist will be responsible for managing the introduction of new products, as well as the transfers in and out of the Nyon site. The primary goal of this role is to coordinate and to execute all stages of new product introduction from designated sites or R&D to the industrialization of the product.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end process of new product introduction, ensuring transition from R&D to full-scale production regarding manufacturing process and product itself.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Project Manager, R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance and supply chain to ensure timely and successful product launches.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.
Develop and implement transfer plans on manufacturing process, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies
Execute all stages of new product introduction, including TRA, process development, validation strategy, and validation itself, in alignment with market needs.
Ensure that the process meet PLM (Product lifecycle management) requirements
Facilitate effective communication between all parties involved in the product introduction process.
Evaluate and challenge R&D requirements to ensure feasibility for industrialization and transferability to the manufacturing site.
Work closely with R&D to align product specifications with manufacturing capabilities and constraints.
Knowledge/ Education / Experience Required:
- Engineer Degree :
Scientific, Technical, Engineering, Cosmetic
Process Validation
Formulation in Research and development
- Demonstrate experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device or cosmetic industry, especially in validation and technical department (More than 3-5 years)
- Proven experience in new product introduction
- The NPI Specialist must possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively respond to customer needs to meet the requirements of the manufacturing plant.
- This role requires the ability to balance expectations with operational demands, ensuring that projects progress smoothly.
- The NPI specialist must be adept at negotiating and communicating with various stakeholders, including customers, internal teams and global partners, to drive project success and maintain alignment with strategic goals. Their ability to build strong relationships is essential to achieve business objectives.
- Key skills include strategic thinking, problem-solving, excellent communication, and proficiency in PLM tools. This position bridges technical expertise and business acumen to support our business goals.
