Job Description

This role is for a Physical Design and Implementation Engineer, CPU at Google. You will be part of a team developing custom silicon solutions for Google's direct-to-consumer products. Responsibilities include developing all aspects of ASIC RTL2GDS implementation for high PPA designs, managing block and full-chip level physical implementation and QoR (power, timing, area). The ideal candidate will have experience in physical design, at least two chip tape-outs, and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field. Preferred qualifications include experience in performance designs (CPUs, GPUs), and power optimization. This role contributes to the innovation behind products used by millions worldwide.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in relevant field
1 year Physical Design experience
2 chip tape-outs experience
ASIC RTL2GDS implementation
Manage block & full-chip physical implementation

Good to have:

Experience in performance designs (CPUs, GPUs)
Power optimization experience

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.
1 year of experience in Physical Design.
Experience in working on two chip tape outs.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in performance designs ( CPUs , GPUs etc.).
Experience in power optimization.
