We are looking for a self-motivated and dynamic PR & Communications Lead to join our growing commercial team here at Sporty Group.
In this role you will be responsible for the strategy, collaboration and execution of PR & Communication campaigns with a goal of enhancing our corporate brand and ensuring effective media coverage.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute PR strategies including creating and implementing comprehensive PR strategies to increase brand visibility and reputation
Craft engaging press releases, news articles, and other communication materials as well as identifying and leveraging opportunities for media coverage
Responsible for Media Relations through building and maintaining strong relationships with local and international media outlets, journalists, and influencers
Pitch story ideas and coordinate interviews to secure media coverage, both general and specialised
Monitor media and social media coverage and prepare reports on media mentions
Generate high-quality written and visual content for various platforms, including social media, blogs, and newsletters whilst ensuring all content is in line with brand messaging and values
Relevant Event Management expertise to plan and execute PR events, product launches, and press conferences as well as coordinate logistics and media attendance
Develop crisis communication plans & protocols, and manage & respond to PR crises promptly and effectively
CSR Initiatives including developing and oversee CSR strategies and initiatives that align with the company’s values and goals
Collaborate with local organisations and communities to implement CSR programs as well as measure and report on the impact of CSR activities
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or any relevant field
Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques
Outstanding English written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience of managing public relations, internal communications, event management, crisis management and creating targeted content
High level of attention to detail
Demonstrated success creating and implementing public relations and communication strategies
Experience within the Betting, iGaming or Media industry is preferred
