As an Email Security Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our email security systems, including email gateways, DNS authentication protocols, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and implement effective email security solutions. You will also manage email-related threat detection tools to ensure a comprehensive security posture.
How you’ll make an impact
Configure, maintain, and optimize email gateways, including Proofpoint, Mimecast, O365, and G Suite, to protect against phishing, spam, malware, and other email-based threats.
Monitor email traffic and analyze trends to identify potential security risks.
Develop and implement policies and rules to enhance email security and compliance.
Implement and manage DNS authentication protocols such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC using tools like Proofpoint EFD and Valimail to secure email communications.
Regularly audit and update DNS records to ensure compliance and prevent email spoofing.
Collaborate with IT and domain administrators to configure and verify DNS settings.
Monitor and analyze email DLP incidents and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.
Work with stakeholders to ensure DLP policies align with business needs and regulatory requirements.
Assist clients in understanding and implementing email security best practices.
Provide training and guidance to clients on the use of email security tools and protocols.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email delivery, filtering, and security.
What we’re looking for
Bachelor's Degree College degree or equivalent required
10-12 years Professional experience in the Information Security field and within discipline required
7-10 years Advanced information security knowledge in one or more areas to include: Enterprise end-point security products (i.e. including Proofpoint, Mimecast, Email DLP, O365, and G Suite.) Security Information and Event Manager (SIEM),
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
Knowledge of Linux or Windows systems administration
Able to work in a fast paced, demanding, and rapidly changing environment
The role demands the availability for US working hours (5PM (IST) to 2AM (IST))
This role is Work From Office role.
