The Role
- QA Automation Engineer should be able to set up and maintain test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms like web, desktop and mobile.
- Investigate problems referred by our technical support team.
- Manage and create bug reports all while keeping close communication with the team.
- Able to build multiple test scenarios and acceptance tests.
- QA Automation Engineer need to handle technical communications with colleagues to understand client’s systems or APIs.
- QA Automation Engineer work with deployment teams and help resolve any level issues for the system.
- QA Automation Engineer should be able to integrate and maintain automated tests in the CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement best practice and coding standards for automation testing.
- Integrate tests with 3rd party services required for testing.
- Provide reporting capabilities to qualify and quantify what has been tested by the automated tests.
- QA Automation Engineer should be able to set up and maintain load testing
- QA Automation Engineer should be able to set up and maintain API testing
Responsibilities
- Creating test cases, executing test cases, debugging, and documenting test plans all while displaying results in agile development environment
- Collaborating with development, product, design and other teams to ideate software solutions
- Designing comprehensive test plans to test both client-side and server-side changes
- Testing with empathy for the end user in mind, not only functionality but also useability and design
- Documenting test notes, process, training and onboarding materials at the department level
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test, QA Automation Engineer or similar role
- Experience developing test plans for desktop and mobile applications
- Experience using a Selenium-based test automation framework (Webdriverio, RSpec, PyTest /w Selenium, etc)
- Knowledge of modern front-end and back-end technologies that you will be required to test
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Great attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- An analytical mind

Nice-to-have Skills and Qualifications
- Love of games and a desire to work for a company that builds games
- Comfort with working remotely on a full-time basis
- Experience working with Blockchain, NFT, and/or Cryptocurrency technologies
- Experience with smart contract testing/automation preferably Rinkeby
- Experience with Webdriverio and Mocha
- Experience with Gitlab and Gitlab CI
- Experience with Postman
- Experience with load testing tools
Education
- Computer Science Degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 yrs experience in automation testing
