We are open to recent graduates, and those with 1 to 3 years of past working experience – ideally in a finance environment such as banking, asset management, pension provider or pension consultancy

Pension Plan Design and Implementation
As an analyst at Mercer, your role includes covering various aspects of pension plan design, implementation, and regulatory compliance. This involves:
Designing pension plans that meet the specific needs of clients and comply with relevant regulations.
Evaluating different providers and selecting the most suitable ones for clients' pension plans.
Assisting in the implementation of pension plans, ensuring a smooth transition and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Surveys and Data Analysis
In addition to pension plan design, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and analyzing data related to retirement pensions. This includes:
Designing surveys using tools like Google Forms or Mercer's internal survey tools to gather information on retirement pensions.
Collecting survey responses and analyzing the data to gain insights into retirement pension trends and preferences.
Utilizing Mercer's compensation and benefit database (TRS/MBM/Retirement Survey) to analyze data and inform pension plan design decisions.
Gathering and analyzing data on the retirement pension market and investment options to provide clients with up-to-date market insights.
Pension Deliverables and Client Support
Your role also involves drafting high-quality pension deliverables and providing support to clients. This includes:
Collaborating with colleagues to create well-crafted pension reports and presentations that effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
Handling client queries and requirements related to pension plans, both from a technical and operational perspective.
Working with specialists from various regions to address client needs and ensure the smooth operation of pension plans.
Actuarial Valuation Participation
Your role involves performing actuarial calculations of clients' retirement benefit liabilities for accounting purposes under the supervision of a senior actuary. This includes:
Communicating with the client's representatives and accounting firm throughout the entire process related to data collection and deliverables, ensuring effective communication and understanding between all parties involved
Accurately assessing and analyzing retirement benefit data based on the strong understanding of the accounting and actuarial aspects of retirement benefits, , ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
What you need to have:
To excel in this role, you should have a good academic track record, preferably in numerical subjects such as Statistics, Finance, Data Engineering, or related fields. Additionally, you should possess the following skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, VBA and R coding for data analysis and presentation purposes.
Strong language capabilities in both Korean and English to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
Candidates available for at least 6 months of full-time work (¨൬ 성과 평가 후, 정관직 전환 가능)
