Senior Demand Planner

Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We are currently partnering with a popular Apparel and Footwear Company to find a skilled Senior Demand Planner for a 6-month onsite contract opportunity located in Costa Mesa, California.

As a Senior Demand Planner, you will play a pivotal role within the Demand Planning team, working closely with cross-functional teams to forecast product demand and drive strategic decision-making. This is a dynamic role where your expertise in analyzing historical data and current trends will directly impact the company’s ability to meet customer demand and optimize inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and facilitate monthly cross-functional demand forecast meetings.
• Analyze historical sales data and current trends to build an unconstrained demand forecast.
• Recommend style and color forecasts to the Merchandising and Sales teams to support product assortment planning.
• Provide special reporting and insights as required to support business needs.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to align forecasts with business objectives.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Demand Planner or in a similar forecasting role, preferably in the apparel, footwear, or retail industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data clearly.
• Expertise in demand planning software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week, and the assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
