Job Description

Warner Bros. Discovery Creative APAC seeks a Senior Designer to join its multi-award-winning in-house agency. Responsibilities include supporting the motion graphics team, producing high-quality creative design for the DTC product and various brands, customizing and localizing global brand toolkits, designing digital marketing assets, collaborating on motion graphics for AV promotions, and working with other designers. The ideal candidate will have strong design skills, experience in broadcast/digital environments, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Cinema 4D.

Must have:

Experienced in global brand toolkits, motion graphics
Strong understanding of digital, social, and TV platforms
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects) and Cinema 4D
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Minimum 5 years' experience in broadcast/digital environment

Good to have:

AI image generation experience

General Summary:

Warner Bros. Discovery Creative APAC is a multi-award-winning in-house agency creating brand identities, on-air promotions, advertising, branded content and communications for consumer, trade and corporate use across a diverse range of media platforms.

As Senior Designer, you will support the motion & graphics team in Australia and for our DTC product, producing premium quality creative design. You will be a design guardian for our brands, channel identities, platforms and promos.

You will thrive on developing creative ideas and pitching concepts to our stakeholders. You will support the Senior Design Manager, be a collaborative person able to work closely with our Creative streaming team and the wider creative team. You will be capable of building strong relationships with our digital and marketing teams in Australia and other parts of APAC. You will have a strong reliable drive and be a trusted pair of hands to make sure projects are delivered on time and budget, to the best possible level.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand the DTC, and broader WBD portfolio, working closely with Senior Manager – Design Streaming, Creative Director ANZ and extended creative team to grow our brands.

Customise and localization of global brand toolkit, including logo design, colour schemes, typography, digital formats and motion & social design systems.

Design and execute all digital channels and marketing assets including, localization of Key Art, statics and media templates, performance marketing, merchandising and all social media platforms.

Collaborate with creative producers to craft captivating 2D/3Dmotion graphics for AVs promotions, teasers, trailers, promos, stunts etc.

Conceptually Independent and able to communicate effectively to produce all graphics from start to finish, in-line with creative briefs within the given deadline.

Work with other designers to establish new skills and insights.

Required Skills:

Experienced in Global brand toolkit, motion graphics and AI image generation is advantageous.

Strong understanding and technical knowledge of the digital, social and TV platforms and formats.

Problem solver with great design skills including layout, typography, composition, illustration, and motion graphics.

Proactive and driven team player, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and delivers on expectations and meets objectives consistently.

Ability to articulate designs and ideas.

Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Expert Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects) and Cinema 4D.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in broadcast/digital environment or similar role.
