Key responsibilities included:
- Responsible for all areas of mechanical research and development relevant to the product specifications and requirements
- Plan and coordinate all activities from conceptualization to mass production in the area of mechanical engineering
- Liaise and coordinate with vendors and contract manufacturers on all activities, schedules and deliverables
- Ensure quality of product is met, schedule is on time and cost is within budget
- Able to work with cross-functional team and suppliers
Pre-Requisites :
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in CAD related software e.g. PTC Creo
- Experience in mechanical part and mechanism design for DFM and DFA, using both plastic and sheet metal parts, as well as in related secondary and cosmetic processes is an added advantage.
- Experience in mold tooling is an added advantage.
- Good communication and proficient in both English and Mandarin.
- Great interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Experience in fast paced consumer electronics development, particularly in designing following products: Computer peripherals, Consumer electronics.
