Job Description

Varonis seeks a Senior Presentation & Communications Designer to create high-quality presentations, product visualizations, and marketing materials. Responsibilities include designing foundational slide decks and collateral, creating visuals for key events, and visualizing product value. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of in-house design experience in the technology sector, expertise in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite, and a strong portfolio showcasing effective presentation design and infographics. Cybersecurity experience is a plus. The role involves leading the creative production cycle, managing brand templates, and ensuring brand consistency across various platforms. This is a remote position with occasional travel to NYC.

Senior Presentation & Communications Designer

About the role:

We are seeking a talented Presentation & Communications Designer to join our growing Brand & Creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing our product messaging and collateral to life through high-quality, effective presentations, product visualizations, and marketing materials.

This role places a heavy emphasis on layout design, presentation design, and visual storytelling. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in communicating product value, benefits, and features clearly through visual diagrams and infographics across a variety of channels, both print and digital.

Experience as an in-house designer in the technology sector, marketing complex products, is a requirement for this role. Cybersecurity experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities:

Design foundational slides and collateral: Collaborate with the product marketing team, CMO, and Sales leadership to design stunning, effective foundational slide decks and product collateral (including datasheets, industry reports, product visualizations, etc.).
Elevate key events: Design slides & collateral for corporate events, speaking opportunities/keynotes, product launches, and executive meetings.
Visualize product value: Design effective, on-brand visualizations and diagrams to communicate product values, benefits, and features.
Elevate our brand: Define and evolve the visual expression of our brand across slides and product materials, ensuring brand consistency and cohesion.
Oversee product/sales design process: Lead the creative production cycle for slide and collateral design (case studies, datasheets, key reports, etc.), ensuring timely delivery and effective resource management.
Manage brand templates: Design and maintain branded templates and resource libraries across tools like PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Canva, optimizing and refreshing as needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

An exceptional design portfolio showcasing high-quality and effective presentation design, product diagrams and infographics, and printed/digital collateral.
Proven experience (5+ years) as an in-house communications designer in the technology sector, working with complex products. Cybersecurity-specific experience is a bonus.
Expert-level proficiency in PowerPoint, including animation.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop).
Ability to transform complex information into clear, concise, and visually engaging slides and materials.
Exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Confidence working within brand guidelines and making design decisions for open-ended projects.
Experience with Asana, Canva, and Figma (for graphics creation) is a bonus.

This position is remote with occasional travel to Varonis HQ in New York City.
