Job Description

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Zapcom, you will be responsible for building backend API test automation for microservices using the Katalon platform. You will need to have a good understanding of API testing and experience with Postman, as well as knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java or a scripting language. You will also be responsible for understanding the end-to-end functionality of the product and developing automated tests accordingly. You will work closely with executives to demonstrate the value of our testing methodology and utilize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms. You will also conduct in-depth research to identify the root causes of issues and guide the team in resolving them. You will be working closely with Product Managers and current testing leads to develop test scenarios for automation and implementing QA processes and automated testing across all work streams to enhance the overall testing cycle. You will also be performing regression testing and end-to-end integration testing of the product prior to delivery. You should be self-driven, motivated, and take pride in automating quality aspects of software. You should also exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Must have:

Good understanding of API testing and experience with Postman
Good knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Java, or any scripting language

Collaborate with executives to demonstrate the value of our testing methodology.
