Marvell is a leading provider of innovative storage technologies, including ultra-fast read channels, high-performance processors, leading edge transceivers, highly efficient analog designs, and powerful cryptographic engines. These solutions address all segments of the hard disk drive (HDD) and solid-state drive (SSD) electronics markets, providing complete solutions including controllers, product firmware, and reference board designs. Many of the same technologies have been utilized in Marvell storage system solutions products, powering PCs, servers, cloud, and enterprise systems.

What You Can Expect

  • Design security of SoC devices, prepare security thread models, identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities, enable verification teams to validate all security threats. Design and develop software for various accelerators, storage and FC products.
  • Collaborate with the team on integrating several modules and its infrastructure, code reviews and improvement of the software development processes. Collaborate with Support, R&D and Technical marketing Engineers to diagnose and troubleshoot escalated customer issues and orchestrate development and testing of patches/hot-fixes.
  • Closely work with hardware, firmware and FPGA teams to provide complete solution to validate various storage IPs. Support internal SOC, AE and FAE teams on chip bring up, testing and validation. Work independently, take ownership, demonstrate aggressiveness in completing tasks, and continuing to develop the abilities to assume more advanced assignments.

What We're Looking For

  • BE/B.Tech/BSc in electrical engineering, computer engineering or similar and 10-15 years of related professional experience.
  • Master’s degree ME/M.Tech/MSc and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 6-10 years of experience.
  • Experience in C / C++ or Rust for development, debugging and testing
  • Experience in any kind Storage products and technologies like SSD, NVMe, CXL, PCIe, Security, TCG Opal etc.
  • Significant experience on Firmware development
  • Excellent debugging & problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work & closely interact with global teams.

Good to have

  • Experience in working with custom hardware platforms/ embedded/SoC architectures is added advantage.
  • Cryptography, device security, secure boot, security protocols like TCG Opal, TLS etc.
