Summary

Google is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to its Contact Center AI Platform (CCAIP), a cloud-based CCaaS product using AI to automate and support customer care. Responsibilities include proposing and implementing solutions to challenging problems, developing new features, improving product performance, collaborating across teams for a cohesive product, building reusable solutions for scalability, and integrating first and third-party solutions. The role requires experience with software development, data structures, algorithms, and cloud technologies (like GCP). The ideal candidate will have experience collaborating across multiple engineering teams and integrating cloud and SaaS solutions. The platform integrates with existing contact center solutions and CRM applications or can be used standalone. CCAIP works with Contact Center AI (CCAI), acting as the gateway to AI services for virtual agents, human agent assistance, and conversation analytics.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform or other similar cloud technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience collaborating and implementing components across multiple engineering teams.
  • Experienced in integrating Cloud solutions.
  • Experience implementing SaaS solutions.

CCAIP collaborates with Contact Center AI (CCAI), acting as the front door to those AI services that power automated virtual agents, provide intelligent assistance to human agents, and analytics for all the conversations that take place on CCAIP.
