Job Description

As a Senior Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects for Cloud Data Center construction and delivery in the EMEA region. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage schedules, and communicate effectively across teams. Responsibilities include managing the construction design and delivery program, coordinating with business partners for cost-effective solutions, leveraging construction design and procurement, and setting strategies for a multi-functional team to deliver data center capacity. You'll need strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities to explain analyses and recommendations to executives and discuss technical tradeoffs with engineers. The role involves working with a broad group of stakeholders to meet capacity business needs in a specific geographic area.

Must have:

8+ years program management experience
Project Management expertise
Electrical Engineering background
Manage Data Center construction
Stakeholder coordination
Cost-effective solutions

Good to have:

Project Controls experience
Excellent design & problem-solving skills
Excellent business communication

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in program management.
Experience in Project Management.
Experience in Electrical Engineering.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with Project Controls.
Excellent design and problem solving skills.
Excellent business communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage the Construction Design and Delivery program for Cloud Data centers.
Work together and coordinate with a broad group of stakeholders and business partners to deliver the most cost effective solution to meet capacity business needs in a particular geographical metro area or site.
Leverage construction design, procurement, and execution to set the strategy for a multi-functional cross geographic team to deliver Cloud data center capacity in the region.
