Technical Program Management - Manager 

Paytm is India’s leading digital payments and financial services company, which is focused on driving consumers and merchants to its platform by offering them a variety of payment use cases. Paytm provides consumers with services like utility payments and money transfers, while empowering them to pay via Paytm Payment Instruments (PPI) like Paytm Wallet, Paytm UPI, Paytm Payments Bank Netbanking, Paytm Fastag and Paytm Postpaid - Buy Now, Pay Later. To merchants, Paytm offers acquiring devices like Soundbox, EDC, QR and Payment Gateway where payment aggregation is done through PPI and also other banks’ financial instruments. To further enhance merchants’ business, Paytm offers merchants commerce services through advertising and Paytm Mini app store. Operating on this platform leverage, the company then offers credit services such as merchant loans, personal loans and BNPL, sourced by its financial partners.  

As a Technical Program Manager you will work closely with engineering, Infrastructure and partner teams to deliver world class products.

You will represent the team internally in the various product and cross functional initiatives, define priorities, bring clarity and lead continuous agile development.

Successful candidates will have a technical background and be passionate about delivering high quality solutions with effective and efficient processes.

What you ll do

● Wear Multiple Hats as TPM, EM and Product to get things done. Drive teamwork and collaboration across teams. Manage a cross-functional POD/PODs end to end

● Champion execution to navigate through the ambiguity and lead the team with clear prioritization, goals & solid plan of action.

● Communicate program plans, status, risks and mitigation strategies to key cross-functional stakeholders .

● Provide subject matter expertise and identify key technology solutions/services to help define team roadmap.

● Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions.

● Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.

● 5+ years of proven track record of handling complex programs spanning across multiple teams (internal & external) in a time bound fashion

● Understanding of Software Development & Release Processes

● A Great Hustler with experience navigating through ambiguity and building programs from scratch

● Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize tasks.

● Track Record of key success metric being Getting it done to drive impact for users & business ● Desirable- Analytical skills and hands on experience on few analytical tools like tableau
