As a Content Producer II at Riot Games, you'll be a key player in shaping esports content for the EMEA region. This role involves leading content production from concept to delivery, encompassing various formats for social media, live broadcasts, and internal platforms. You will manage projects end-to-end, from pitching ideas and planning timelines to managing budgets and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities include overseeing domestic and international shoots, ensuring quality and timely delivery, and collaborating with vendors and contractors. You'll leverage data insights to improve storytelling and production techniques while contributing to a positive team culture and helping onboard new teammates. The ideal candidate possesses strong project management and creative development skills, experience with managing vendors, and fluency in English.

Job Details

As a Content Producer II on our Content Services team, you’ll play a key role in shaping and executing compelling content experiences for Riot's EMEA esports products. You’ll lead content production from concept to delivery—crafting innovative formats, managing workflows, and overseeing domestic and international shoots. Your work will live across social media, live broadcasts, and internal platforms, designed to engage our passionate player community and elevate our brand.

You’ll own projects end-to-end: pitching ideas, planning production timelines, managing budgets, and collaborating with cross-functional partners. Your creative thinking will be backed by data insights and audience knowledge, supporting strategic content campaigns and long-term initiatives. Alongside internal and external teams—including vendors, editors, production staff, and localization—you’ll ensure quality, consistency, and timely delivery. You’ll also help onboard new teammates and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes and tools.

As part of our Berlin team, you’ll join a collaborative, high-performing group that thrives on pushing boundaries and delivering unforgettable player experiences in esports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end content production for EMEA esports initiatives—from concept and greenlight to post-production and delivery, including overseeing shoots and managing production schedules.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring content is delivered on time, within scope, and at high quality.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across broadcast, game operations, creative, and business development to ensure cohesive and impactful content execution.
  • Drive innovation in formats and workflows, using audience insights and analytics to improve storytelling, production techniques, and tool adoption.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors, including sourcing, procurement, and negotiations, to ensure quality output and alignment with project goals.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture by actively participating in workshops, sharing knowledge and experience, and offering constructive feedback. Support teammates’ growth by fostering collaboration, encouraging open communication, and helping new team members integrate smoothly into the team.
  • Contribute to team-wide initiatives, including retrospectives, documentation, and the evolution of production pipelines and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a fast-paced broadcast, agency, marketing, or creative services environment
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in creative development and production across one or more areas, such as: video, digital media, visual design, editorial, broadcast, film, or television
  • Proven ability to manage and negotiate with vendors across Europe and MENA regions
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and reprioritize as needed in dynamic environments
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to conceptualize creative content and design effective content release strategies
  • Ability to distill ideas into clear, impactful narratives; video editing skills are a plus
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Solution-oriented mindset with resilience in the face of challenging projects or shifting priorities
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Microsoft Office Suite, and media production tools (video editing and media management software)
  • Experience with professional production equipment including cameras, lighting setups, and set design
  • Comfortable managing fixed budgets and allocating resources effectively
  • Versatile content creator—equally confident producing short-form social content (e.g., TikTok) and multi-episode docuseries
  • Analytical and audience-aware—consistently evaluates content performance and adapts approach based on viewing habits
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships across departments and disciplines
