Valeo is seeking a Site Projects Manager (m/w/d) for its Wemding location to lead the P1/P0 project portfolio. This role involves managing a team, ensuring goal achievement (QCDPT), and monitoring performance. Key responsibilities include early reporting of critical issues, initiating countermeasures, and supporting acquisition activities through cost breakdowns and prototype calculations. The manager will also ensure the implementation of V3 methods, project management standards, and compliance with aftermarket requirements, while providing hierarchical and operational leadership to project managers to ensure smooth production start-ups. The position requires promoting Valeo values and adhering to ethics and HSE standards.
Must have:
- Manage P1/P0 project portfolio, including team leadership and performance monitoring.
- Report critical issues early and initiate countermeasures.
- Support acquisition activities with cost breakdowns and prototype calculations.
- Ensure V3 method introduction and project management standards compliance.
- Lead project managers hierarchically and operationally for smooth production.
- Promote Valeo values and adhere to ethics and HSE standards.

We are looking for YOU as Site Projects Manager (m/w/d) for our location in Wemding.
These challenges await you:
- Responsible for the management of the P1/P0 project portfolio at the site including team leadership, achievement of goals (QCDPT) and performance monitoring.
- Early reporting of critical issues, initiation of appropriate countermeasures and support for acquisition activities – for example through cost breakdowns or prototype calculations
- Ensuring the introduction of V3 methods, project management standards and compliance with aftermarket requirements.
- Hierarchical and operational leadership of the project managers, ensuring smooth production start-ups according to the “RU ready” checklist.
- Promotion of Valeo values, compliance with ethics, HSE standards and all project-relevant methods according to Valeo guidelines.
Are you ready for this?
- Completed studies as an engineer or industrial engineer or comparable qualification
- Personal skills to lead the functional organization
- Financial knowledge of development, product and manufacturing costs
- Several years of professional experience in operational business in a leadership role
- Good business knowledge and good knowledge of project management
- High resilience and a structured, goal- and results-oriented way of working
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken
