As a Staff Digital Design Engineer, you will be part of a collaborative team developing high-performance mixed-signal integrated circuits, including delta-sigma ADC’s and DAC’s, amplifiers, DC/DC converters, and other circuitry in advanced CMOS processes. You will play a meaningful role in developing next-generation devices and ensuring that leading consumer electronics manufacturers can easily integrate our devices into their products.

Responsibilities

    • Work from concept to mass production in a team environment to design digital subsystems that form the core of our high-performance mixed-signal ICs.
    • Ownership of the design and development of a variety of digital and DSP IP blocks within those subsystems
    • Verification of those subsystems in a directed test environment and to support a verification team doing UVM verification
    • Support tape-out and post-silicon activities, including validation, characterization, and production test
    • Possible mentoring of junior engineers and helping lead small teams.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

    • Requires an MSEE and 5+ years of technical experience or a PhD and 3+ years of technical experience in digital system design.
    • Working knowledge of Verilog RTL language
    • Must know digital design flow from architecture, RTL design, verification, and synthesis
    • Ability to modify previously developed RTL and the ability to write RTL from scratch
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Sould have expertise in DSP or in Microprocesser & State Machine design (either would work)
