This individual will work with colleagues across Wind River to support their strategic vision and revenue goals, including pre-sales technical experts, professional services, management, post-sales technical support, and sales administration.
Must have:
3-5 years of quota-bearing sales experience.
Demonstrated success in a consultative sales approach.
Good listening, presentation, and communication skills.
Good organizational skills.
Good to have:
Embedded software sales experience is a plus.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Territory Account Representative - Wind River is looking for a talented, ambitious, and self-motivating Account Representative, who is ready to learn and shape the future of products, solutions, ultra-reliability and exceptional performance efficiencies for Japan Market across Industry.
The Territory Account Representative shall maximize the sales of company’s products and helps the commercial success in Japan market. TAM is also involved with identifying new markets and business opportunities. He/she is responsible for achieving his/her assigned quota with increasing and developing sales in his/her assigned territories or industries.
INTERFACE & COLLABORATION
Report to Japan Regional Sales Director
Interface with colleagues across Wind River who will support you in achieving your strategic vision and revenue goals. These people are pre-sales technical experts, professional services, management, post-sales technical support and sales administration including corporate groups.
Collaborate with Japan sales team on best practices, sales enablement and tools to effectively execute company goals and revenue targets.
Engage with both internal and external senior executives to review business plans and sales strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, build and grow an effective presence within target accounts and become a trusted advisor to all customer touch points.
Establish long-terms sales and account management strategy and implement tactical approaches to realize that strategy.
Inspire the field teams (Engineering, Pre-Sales, Customer Success) to execute passionately against vision and strategy.
Understand client business models and technology challenges.
Create and drive strategic revenue growth plans through solution selling sales plans.
Leverage Wind River’s strategic partner ecosystem and collaborate on mutually successful sales strategies.
ABOUT YOU:
3-5 years of quota-bearing sales experience.
Embedded software sales and OEM marketplace experience a plus.
Demonstrated success using a consultative, solutions/value-oriented sales approach and team selling environment.
Evidence of success selling solutions to new and existing customers.
Strong hunting and prospecting motivation.
Good listening, presentation and public speaking skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good organizational skills.
Good communication skills with a friendly approach to problem-solving.
Experience using Salesforce.com a plus.
Self-motivated individual who can work well on their own or in a team.
Ability to manage own area and introduce tailored customer solutions to drive sales forward.
Ability to work under pressure with good attention to detail.

This role is part of our sales organization and has an On Target Earnings (OTE) consisting of 50% base salary plus a 50% variable commission. Overachievement of the variable portion is possible.
