Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB) team at Marsh Australia. This role will be based in Sydney office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Your role provides professional outsourced return to work and claims consulting services to Mercer Marsh Benefits clients through the administration of injury management software, insurer and other stakeholder liaison and back-office injury management accountabilities.

The role is a position in Workers Compensation consulting and injury management profession, with an opportunity for significant on the job development and career progression.

We will count on you to:

  • Perform Outsourced Return to Work Coordinator functions, ensuring effective management of the return-to-work process for injured workers.
  • Triaging and lodgement of new claims promptly and accurately to facilitate timely processing and support for injured workers.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive return-to-work plans tailored to the needs of injured workers, ensuring alignment with employer obligations and best practices.
  • Maintain regular contact with key stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, and insurers, to provide updates, gather information, and address any concerns related to the return-to-work process.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of claims to assess progress, identify any issues, and recommend appropriate actions to facilitate recovery and return-to-work.

What you need to have:

  • Return to Work Coordinator accreditation (desirable but not essential).
  • Tertiary qualifications in allied health.
  • Experience in claims management functions at an insurer or employer.
  • Experience with claims management and injury management systems.
