The 2D Animator will create high-quality 2D rigging and animations for characters and game environment backgrounds using Unity's 2D Animation tools. This role involves collaborating with the development team to integrate animations within the Unity game engine, ensuring seamless gameplay experiences. The animator will also design and animate User Interface (UI) elements, enhancing player interaction. Additionally, the animator will work closely with artists, designers, and programmers to understand project requirements and contribute creatively to the development process. The animator should stay updated with the latest animation trends and techniques relevant to game development, participate in team meetings, troubleshoot and resolve animation-related issues.
