3D Artist

Job Description:

As a 3D Artist, you will play a key role in the development of our games by creating high-quality 3D assets and environments. You will collaborate with artists, designers, and developers to bring our vision to life, ensuring that our visuals meet both artistic and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Asset Creation: Model, texture, and rig 3D characters, environments, props, and other assets according to project requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the art and design teams to ensure assets are optimized for gameplay and fit within the overall art style.
• Animation: Create basic animations for characters and objects, ensuring fluid movement and adherence to gameplay mechanics.
• Optimization: Ensure that all assets are optimized for performance while maintaining high visual quality.
• Feedback Implementation: Respond to feedback from team leads and implement changes as necessary to meet project goals.
• Asset Management: Maintain a clean and organized workflow, including managing files and documentation for assets created.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Art, Animation, Game Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in 3D modeling and game asset creation, preferably in the gaming industry.
• Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in 3D software (Maya, Blender, 3ds Max) and texture painting tools (Substance Painter, Photoshop).
• Artistic Skills: Strong understanding of 3D principles, including modeling, texturing, lighting, and animation.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of 3D assets, including characters, environments, and animations.
