We are one of the leading providers of Advisory related services in Greece. The Outsourcing team of PwC Greece is the leading provider of Accounting, Payroll & HR solutions in Greece, assisting organisations to get value from our outsourcing experience and bring together the skills to deliver improvements in people, processes, and technology. With a team of approximately three hundred professionals, we aim to provide holistic solutions to our clients supporting them in confronting the challenging and constantly changing environment in Greece.

In this dynamic environment, we are now looking for a high caliber Accounting   Outsourcing Manager ​for our team in Athens. As a member of our team you will:

• Manage Accounting, Finance and Reporting Outsourcing activities to clients and have overall responsibility for the process.

• Review the statutory financial statements under Greek GaaP and/or IFRS.

• Review the corporate tax returns (VAT, CIT, Withholding tax etc.)

• Manage the the day to day aspects of an Accounting Engagement including team and client management

• Supervise, review and design accounting processes for client’s accounting function.

• Advise clients on statutory accounting and tax compliance complex requirements.

• Collaborate with a team of International Accounting and Tax professionals in Greece and globally to combine diverse cross-border experience with local accounting and tax knowledge across a broad spectrum of industries

• You will build strong internal relationships within the Accounting Outsourcing team and across other service lines and you will counsel and develop more junior staff through delegation and on the job training

• Collaborate with senior executives within the organization, addressing key subjects concerning client-related issues

• Seek for opportunities to develop your own expertise and constantly challenge yourself

What we are looking for:

• At least eight (8) years of professional experience with at least three (3) years in a supervisory role. 

• Previous experience at a consulting firm and/or large industry accounting team will be considered an asset.

• Experience of working on multiple accounts will be highly regarded

• Excellent academic records from a Greek or foreign top-tier university

• Strong Knowledge of Tax and Accounting legislation

• Strong Knowledge for establishment requirements and setup of new companies.

• Strong managerial, organizational, project management, analytical skills

• Experience of managing a team and/or mentoring and developing more junior team members

• Strong accounting skills and technical knowledge on financial reporting matters

• A confident and positive attitude, focused on teamwork and communication with colleagues and clients

• Commitment to provide quality work and build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues, based on PwC’s Outsourcing Operating framework

• Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and professional manner (both in English and Greek)
