APAC Real Estate Payment Specialist

Team Introduction The candidate will be part of the Transactions team within Real Estate & Facilities-APAC, and will report to the Transactions Lead, APAC. This Payment Specialist oversees the management and processing of real-estate related remittances in APAC, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies. This role requires expertise in payment processing and financial compliance. Responsibilities - Handle end-to-end processing of real estate related remittance. - Ensure accurate and timely execution of payments, accurate billing, timely payments, and adherence to contracturally agreed payment terms. - Maintain a database of all real estate related financial terms for all signed lease agreements and licence agreements, agency disbursements, including rental payments sums, property tax, payment terms, security deposit, government taxes, agency fee disbursements etc. - Work closely with other internal key stakeholders, such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Corporate Services, Legal etc. Work closely with external key stakeholders, such as Landlords, Serviced Office Providers, Agencies for financial-related synchronization, coordination and issue resolution. - Reconcile payments, investigate discrepancies, and resolve payment issues. - Assists internal teams with payment related inquiries and troubleshooting. - Liaise with the accounts team for liaising with banks, payment processors to resolve transaction-related issues. - Active participation in process improvement initiatives and projects. - Generate and prepare periodic financial reports as needed and contribute to real estate related adhoc projects as needed.

Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, or equivalent fields. - 2 to 3 years of experience in Payments/relevant applicable field. - Basic knowledge and understanding related to payment, compliance requirements and industry best practices. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Conscientious, meticulous and responsible individual with a positive attitude to in meeting deadlines, competing priorities. Preferred Requirements - Good understanding, written and verbal communication skills and data skills.
