SuperStuff is looking to hire an Art Director (Design) for our brand partner in the fashion retail space, based in Bangalore. This is for their newly launched D2C venture. More about the role, below :
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate to Create On-Brand Visuals: Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to deliver high-quality, on-brand creatives and visuals, enhancing customer experience and driving revenue growth across all digital channels.
- Ideate and Partner for Flawless Campaigns: Collaborate with key internal stakeholders like the social media manager and brand manager, as well as external agency partners, to conceptualize and execute flawless marketing campaign assets, promotional materials, and creatives.
- Art Direction for Shoots: Partner with shoot agencies to art direct and plan catalogue, campaign, and digital shoots, ensuring all visual elements align with brand standards.
- Create Product-Design Based Collaterals: Work closely with the marketing team to develop product-focused collateral, including packaging inserts, flyers, and packaging designs.
- Elevate Creative Standards: Consistently strive to raise the bar for creative development and execution, ensuring all designs are innovative and effective.
- Data-Driven Design Support: Use insights, including quantitative data, site metrics, segmentation, and customer feedback, to support and refine your designs.
- Manage Projects Efficiently: Ensure all projects are completed within identified timelines and budgets. Work collaboratively to improve efficiencies and output across your team, including managing your own workload effectively.
- Develop Visual Strategies: Create detailed visual mock-ups and presentations to communicate high-level visual strategies to stakeholders.
- Support Creative Team Functionality: Perform shared tasks required for the Creative Team's functionality, including managing incoming briefs, updating SOPs and guidelines, procuring visual tools, and maintaining visual documentation.
- Maintain Visual Consistency: Create and uphold visual guidelines, best practices, and playbooks to ensure consistency across all brands and reduce churn.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Visual Communications, or a related field
- Extensive Experience: Over 10 years of professional experience in Graphic or Visual Design roles within e-commerce, consumer marketing, D2C brands, or agencies with clients in the fashion & lifestyle, ecommerce or D2C segment (your portfolio should reflect this)
- Technical Proficiency: 10+ years of professional experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and familiarity with AI tools like Canva and Runway ML.
- Brand & Digital Expertise: 8+ years of experience implementing design across various digital platforms, including email, social, mobile, desktop, app, and web, for established brands.
- Project Management: 8+ years of experience managing multiple design projects and schedules in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative Skills: 8+ years of experience working effectively with creative and technical teams
- Photo Editing : 8+ years of professional experience in photo editing and retouching.
- Responsive Design Knowledge: 8+ years of experience with responsive design and a strong understanding of accessibility best practices.
