Job Description

The Asset Lite role at Tesla involves supporting local and regional sales efforts, generating leads, driving demand, and acting as a primary point of contact for sales-related activities. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, ensuring tailored communication with customers, strategically driving demand, acting as a team role model, and continuously improving processes. The role requires strong sales skills, the ability to deliver successful sales pitches, proficiency in sales administration, managing fleet cars, preparing customer vehicles, and educating customers about Tesla products. Market expansion activities and support of store activities are also integral to the position. The candidate should be a self-starter, possess exceptional organizational skills, and thrive in a team environment. This role directly contributes to achieving sales and delivery targets.

What to Expect

As an Asset lite, you will support local and regional efforts to generate leads, drive demand and serve as a point of contact for sales related activities.  Through varied outreach efforts and acting entrepreneurial, you will help enable the market to achieve KPIs while continuing to ensure customers receive excellent service. You will have relentless determination to succeed and will be driven by shared success as well as the mission of Tesla to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.

You are part of a larger sales team who works closely and flexibly on all tasks. You are expected to cooperate frequently and display a one-team mentality to achieve sales and delivery targets. 

What You’ll Do
  • To offer excellent customer service throughout the sales and delivery process.
  • Ensure close and tailored communication with customers at all touch points.
  • Think strategically while providing effective actions to drive demand and create opportunities for potential customers to experience the products.
  • Act as a role model and a source of excellence in the team, leading by example.
  • Self-starter and offer solutions striving towards continuous improvement. 
  • Enable market presence through all means of point of sale activities.
  • Ensure high level of inbound and outbound activity to create, maintain and develop sales pipeline.
  • Be the driver, in achieving sales and delivery target working closely with stakeholders and the team to identify any barriers and offer solutions. 
  • Maintain sales administrative duties including contract completion, finance and ensuring systems are up to date, as well as effectively managing all outbound activities and reporting.
  • Ensure readiness of fleet cars at any given time and have an overview of resources available.
  • Prepare customer vehicles in advance of delivery appointments as well as perform direct deliveries.
  • To inform and educate about Tesla at every opportunity.
  • Engage in market expansion activities and be on the lookout for arising opportunities in the retail and infrastructure space.
  • Support close by Store Activities and team up to pursue market wide activities and road shows.

  • Sales savy with a strong track record of independence and proactive approach to pursue sales.  
  • High level of resilience, adaptability and a constant desire to develop yourself and others.
  • Experience in delivering successful sales pitches and track record of strong conversion.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-based environment and achieve common goals
  • Excellent problem solving skills, and strong ability to take initiative and be proactive.
  • Exceptional ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines 
  • Positivity, enthusiasm and a passion towards the mission of Tesla. 
  • Confident in learning and adapting to multiple technologies  
  • Able to communicate, read, and write effectively in the English language on all levels
  • Have the required language skills if required by our local markets
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Must have had a valid driver’s license for minimum of 2 years 
  • Must have and continue to maintain a valid and safe driving record
