As an Azure Specialist with a specialization in systems engineering and cloud operations, you will be a crucial member of our IT Ops team responsible for managing and optimizing cloud and on-premises environments and workloads. Your role will be integral in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of PwC Greece IT infrastructure.

The role entails

• Deploy, configure, and maintain IaaS,PaaS and on premises infrastructure resources to meet PwC requirements with a preference for cloud architectures when possible.

• Continuously monitor system performance, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement.

• Implement PwC security standards and guidelines to safeguard assets and data.

• Stay current with cloud best practices and proactively propose improvements.

• Address technical issues promptly and serve as level 2 support.

• Effectively diagnosing and resolving issues to minimize downtime and collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve complex problems.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and PwC’s cloud services and suggest improvements and optimizations.

• Engage in the local implementations of global technology projects.

• Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

• Work alongside global teams to oversee PwC Azure managed services.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proven experience as a System Administrator or Cloud Operations Specialist with a strong focus on Azure.

• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) preferred.

• Proficiency in configuring and maintaining Azure services.

• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
