Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable cloud-based solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-effectiveness for our cloud infrastructure.

What you’ll do as Cloud Engineer:

AWS Platform: 

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Optimize costs by using AWS cost management tools and strategies, including the use of reserved instances.
• Design and implement cloud architecture solutions to meet business requirements.
• Ensure AWS services are cost-effective and perform well. 

Generative AI & LLM Models: 

• Develop and manage AI models and use GPUs for AI/ML tasks. 

Kubernetes: 

• Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Follow best practices for running and monitoring Kubernetes clusters. 

Cloud Networking & Security: 

• Design and manage secure cloud networks.
• Use Prisma Cloud or similar tools to keep cloud systems secure.
• Conduct regular posture checks using Prisma to ensure compliance and security.

Operations & Ticket Handling: 

• Oversee cloud operations to ensure they run smoothly.
• Handle support tickets and resolve issues quickly. 

Scripting and Automation: 

• Write scripts using Python, Terraform, and other scripting languages to automate cloud tasks.
• Use scripting to improve system efficiency and reduce manual work.  

What you will bring to the team:

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. 
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, especially with AWS. 
• Experience with AI models and using GPUs. 
• Strong skills in Kubernetes. 
• Knowledge of cloud networking and security, especially with Prisma Cloud. 
• Experience conducting posture checks with Prisma. 
• Expertise in AWS cost optimization and the use of reserved instances. 
• Good problem-solving skills and experience with support tickets. 
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities. 
• Proficiency in Python and Terraform for scripting and automation.  
• Good Understanding of ITIL process like Incident Management, Change Management, Availability Management etc.
• Proven experience in team handling or mentoring junior engineers.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer). 
• Experience with other cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud. 
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps. 
• Experience with other scripting languages like PowerShell or Ansible.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior cloud engineers.
