Your work will contribute to the characterization of semiconductor devices, enabling quality data collection for current and future technology nodes, and the overall continuous improvement of semiconductor reliability labs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the installation, qualification, and release to production of semiconductor test stations at either the wafer-level (WLR) or packaged unit test-structure level.
- Maintain lab standards by ensuring adherence to Quality Management System protocols and laboratory specifications.
- Ensure lab safety by adhering to regulations, conducting risk assessments, and implementing safety improvements.
- Pull data from databases and assist in scripting for data analysis to support semiconductor device reliability discussions.
- Use data analytics to identify improvement opportunities and implement strategies to enhance lab efficiency and reliability.
- Support the integration of new hardware with custom automation software, contributing to requirements definition and development.
- Operate and maintain various electrical measurement tools, including parametric analyzers, SMUs, oscilloscopes, DMMs, and power supplies
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to execute commitments.
- Systematic and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and quality of work.
- Willingness to communicate results and collaborate with technical stakeholders.
- Ability to understand the big picture and apply systematic thinking to generate solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- At least 3 to 5 yrs with test or reliability and equipment experience.
- Basic experience in hands-on electrical characterization, measurement, and hardware debugging.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++, or LabView.
- Basic understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes, testing, and/or device physics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with basic semiconductor reliability failure mechanisms (e.g., hot-carrier, bias-temperature-instability, electromigration).
- Experience in experimental design execution and interpretation.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
- Proficiency in JMP, JSL, and SQL is a plus.
