Job Description

This role is for a Senior Business Analyst with Post Trade and Corporate Actions experience in Bengaluru, India. The project involves providing end-to-end development solutions for a major investment banking product by scaling up the technology stack using cloud-based services within the Payment Settlement stream. Responsibilities include creating and executing test packs for Corporate Actions, managing defects, reporting test results, suggesting new requirements to address identified gaps, and ensuring the entire software development lifecycle is followed effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of capital markets, financial products, trade lifecycle, and software development.

Must have:

8+ years Business Analyst experience
Post-trade & Corporate Actions expertise
Financial domain knowledge
Capital market understanding
Trade Life Cycle knowledge
Software Development Lifecycle understanding
Requirement specification & UAT experience
Excellent documentation skills

Good to have:

Basic Database & Dev Env knowledge (Bitbucket, Git)

Project description

Provide End to End Development solutions to one of the largest investment banking products by scaling up the latest technology stack by adopting the cloud-based services under the Payment Settlement stream.

Responsibilities

Creation of a Test pack, which would be relevant to Corp Actions.

Execution of the test cases.

Defect management

Result of the executed Test cases [ Pass, Fail ]

Any new requirements to be suggested, as identified GAP.

Skills

Must have

Overall 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, post-trade & Corporate Actions

Experience as a Business Analyst in the IT industry in the Finance domain.

Knowledge of Capital Market activities, Financial Products, and Financial Terminologies is a must.

Understanding of the Trade Life Cycle

Thorough understanding of the complete Software Development Lifecycle

Self-motivated, good interpersonal skills, and inclination to constantly upgrade on new technologies and frameworks.

Good communication, good interpersonal skills and coordination activities, self-motivated, and inclination to constantly upgrade on new developments in the industry.

Ability to understand business requirements easily and translate them into functional requirements.

Capability to understand and analyze complex IT applications and financial product structures

Excellent documentation ability.

Have experience in preparing requirement specifications and performing UAT.

Nice to have

Basic technical understanding of Database, and development environment like Bitbucket, Git
