This internship focuses on identifying, defining, and designing opportunities to support and/or develop new programs or improve current programs for people with disabilities at Microsoft. The intern will advocate for the program's value through defined metrics, ensuring all activities align with objectives and efficient process execution. Responsibilities include marketing event support (invitations, hosting, follow-up), digital content sharing, opportunity creation, account filtering and targeting, pipeline management, and reporting on performance metrics. The program aims to foster greater inclusion and equip participants with valuable skills for future employment. The internship is project-based and contributes significantly to Microsoft's business objectives.

Overview

As a Business Program Management Intern, you will identify, define, and design opportunities to support and/or develop new programs or improve current programs. You will advocate for and demonstrate the value of the program through clearly defined metrics in order to gain buy in from stakeholders, partners and customers. You will monitor programs to ensure all activities align with program objectives and ensures program processes are executed efficiently including change management and/or program improvement efforts.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field.
  • Must have at least one semester/term of school remaining following the completion of the internship.  
  • You must be legally authorised (have citizenship or a valid visa/work permit) to work in Türkiye. 

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Event Execution Support: This includes sending invitations, hosting events, and following up with attendees.
  • Digital Selling Content Sharing: Sharing relevant content with accounts to support sales efforts.
  • Opportunity Creation: Creating sales opportunities with Account team guidance.
  • Account Filtering and Targeting: Aligning with Account Teams (ATU) on account filtering and analyzing targeting tools to define whitespace and opportunities.
  • Pipeline Hygiene Management: Engaging with Opportunity owners to support pipeline health.
  • Reporting: Tracking the success criteria and performance metrics and reporting regularly.
