Summary

As Community Manager for PlayerZero, you'll be the voice of the platform, engaging with users across various channels (X, Discord, etc.). Responsibilities include fostering a positive community, creating engaging content, gathering user feedback, hosting events, and moderating discussions. You'll collaborate with marketing and the product team, using analytics to improve community engagement and shape product development. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in community management, ideally within gaming or digital collectibles, with a deep understanding of blockchain and digital ownership.

About you: 

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Community Manager who thrives in building vibrant, engaged communities. You excel at fostering meaningful connections, maintaining an open line of communication, and creating a sense of belonging. With a proactive and hands-on approach, you will be the bridge between PlayerZero and its users, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued. Your role will be critical in cultivating a loyal and enthusiastic user base while promoting our vision of a connected and interoperable digital world.

Your daily adventures will include:

  • Community Engagement & Growth.
    • Be the primary contact for PlayerZero’s community across X, Discord, and our social hub.
    • Engage with users daily, respond to questions, and amplify user content.
    • Foster a positive, inclusive environment and build strong relationships with key community members and KOLs.
  • Content & Communication.
    • Contribute to the content calendar with updates, announcements, and spotlights.
    • Collaborate with marketing on brand-aligned messaging and share engaging content like tutorials and previews.
  • User Feedback & Insights.
    • Gather and share user feedback with the product team to shape the roadmap.
    • Facilitate focus groups and research sessions to align product development with community needs.
  • Events & Activations.
    • Host online events (AMAs, community calls, launch parties) to engage and inform.
    • Launch programs like ambassador initiatives, contests, and game nights to boost loyalty.
  • Moderation & Support.
    • Ensure safe, respectful spaces by monitoring and moderating channels.
    • Lead a global moderation team to resolve issues and maintain clear communication.
  • Analytics & Reporting.
    • Track metrics to identify trends, refine strategies, and measure impact.


What you bring:

  • 3–5 years of community management experience, ideally in gaming, or digital collectibles.
  • A deep understanding of collectibles concepts such as blockchain, digital ownership, and trends in gaming and virtual worlds. You can articulate why cross-game avatars and interoperable digital identities matter, building trust and excitement in these communities.
  • Exceptional communication skills to craft engaging, platform-appropriate messages and foster strong relationships. You excel at diffusing conflicts, maintaining a positive atmosphere, and representing PlayerZero with a professional, approachable tone.
  • Proven ability to moderate discussions and enforce community guidelines effectively, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Creativity paired with strategic thinking, enabling you to design and execute engaging events or activations that resonate with the community while meeting business goals.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, addressing community issues swiftly and adapting to the rapidly changing collectibles and gaming landscape.
  • Expertise with platforms like Discord, X, and Telegram, tailoring content to each while leveraging social media tools to amplify engagement.
  • A data-driven mindset, using analytics to track growth, identify trends, and continuously refine strategies to improve community engagement.
