Job Description

As a Freelance CRM Assistant at Inkitt, you'll be responsible for designing and developing responsive HTML email templates, creating visual assets for emails, assembling weekly newsletters, managing translations and localization, and handling campaign setup and scheduling using internal tools, Sendgrid, and Iterable. You'll need strong HTML/CSS skills, experience with email marketing, design capabilities, and knowledge of email deliverability best practices. This role requires collaboration with the Content team and occasional travel to the Berlin office.

Must have:

1+ years email marketing experience
Excellent design eye
Strong HTML/CSS skills
Responsive email template building
Photoshop skills

Good to have:

Experience with major ESP platforms
Knowledge of CAN-SPAM
Marketing automation & segmentation
Personalization & dynamic content

This candidate much be Berlin based for occasional travel to our Berlin office.

What You'll Do:

Design and develop responsive HTML email templates that align with our brand identity
Create beautiful visual assets for emails using our content library and assemble weekly newsletters
Collate translations and set up localisation automation
Campaign set up and scheduling using internal tools, Sengrid and Iterable

What You'll Bring:

1+ years of experience in email marketing
Excellent design eye
Ability to write hooky, engaging email copy in English
Strong HTML/CSS skills with experience building responsive email templates
Photoshop skills
Proficiency in major ESP platforms
Portfolio demonstrating both design and html capabilities
Excellent knowledge of HTML and CSS for email development
Experience with responsive design and cross-client compatibility
Understanding of email deliverability best practices
Familiarity with marketing automation and segmentation
Knowledge of CAN-SPAM and email marketing regulations
Experience with personalization and dynamic content
