Job Description

The Customer Service & Logistics Manager will play an integral role in optimizing logistics processes to deliver superior customer service. Responsibilities include managing LSPs, communicating inventory availability, managing freight forwarders and customs clearance, driving continuous improvement, adjusting replenishment schedules, monitoring shipments, coordinating subcon orders, managing repacking activities, and ensuring compliance. The role requires in-depth knowledge of supply chain, strong planning abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and SAP user proficiency. Candidates should be detail oriented and fluent in English. The role involves proactive management of logistics to minimize business impact and maintain a healthy inventory level, ensuring adherence to quality and EHS standards. The candidate will also be expected to support ad hoc tasks as needed.

Job Details

These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Play an integral role in the deployment and continuous improvement of logistics processes to support the deliver superior customer service levels.
  • Management of LSPs to ensure agreed service levels are being achieved.
  • Communicating inventory availability to the commercial business so that customer relationships and expectations can be managed.
  • Proactive management of freight forwarder and customs clearance to ensure customer service levels are met within the market.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives with LSPs and sites to ensure spend is optimized.
  • Work with supply hub to adjust replenishment schedule to support business requirement.
  • Monitor shipment to ensure goods arrival at market on schedule.
  • Coordinate with supply hub to arrange subcon orders accordingly.
  • Management and execution of re-packing activities within the market to support the commercial business.
  • Ensure repacking fee is in line with agreement.
  • Pre-alert low stock & out of stock to commercial for early preparation to minimize business impact.
  • Work with commercial team to deplete high stock & slow-moving products to reduce write off cost.
  • Maintain inventory at a healthy level.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality and EHS Standards.
  • Support ad hoc task if required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • In depth knowledge of supply chain especially in supply planning activities
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain operation.
  • Strong planning ability & able to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work with cross functional teams.
  • SAP user – APO / O2C / W&D module.
  • Understand commercial requirement of the market
  • Good computer skill – Microsoft office, Outlook
  • Fluent in English.
  • Detail oriented.

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Experience in FMCG or OTC industry.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Basic GxP knowledge
