Job Description

Haleon is seeking a Senior Territory Sales Executive to join their growing sales team in India. This role involves executing sales plans to achieve secondary sales targets in rural markets, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, and providing guidance to sales teams. The executive will be responsible for creating and adhering to sales plans, ensuring adequate service levels to sub-stockists, monitoring sales performance, and reporting market intelligence. The role also includes collaborating with other departments and addressing customer complaints. Haleon is a consumer health company with brands like Crocin, Sensodyne, Advil, and Centrum, focused on improving everyday health through human understanding and science. Must have:
  • Minimum 5 years of front-line sales experience in the consumer industry.
  • Rural sales distribution management experience.
  • Executing sales plans to achieve secondary sales targets.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and analyzing sales performance and providing reports.
  • Collecting and reporting market intelligence on competitor activities.
  • Addressing customer complaints through timely action as per SOP.

As a Territory Sales Executive, you will:

  • Executing sales plans to achieve defined secondary sales targets in Rural Markets
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders (Sub Db, USRs, Super Stockiest)
  • Providing guidance, support, and training to sales team members (off role) to assist distributor sales teams to penetrate deeper pockets within the assigned area.
  • Creating and maintaining adherence to PJPs
  • Ensure adequate service levels to sub stockiest customers and build business in existing and new outlets.
  • Monitoring and analyzing sales performance and providing regular reports on sales activity and performance on respective team members. 
  • Collect and report market intelligence on competitor activities like new launches, product visibility etc.
  • Collaborating with other teams and departments to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services to customers.
  • Address customer complaints through timely action as per prescribed Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Timely reporting to all concerned stakeholders as per prescribed formats.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most:

Minimum Level of Education Required:

Any Graduate, Preferred MBA.

Previous Experience Required:

           

5+ years in front line sales in consumer industry. Incumbent must have Rural Sales Distribution Management experience. It would be preferred if the incumbent is handling similar roles.
