Using a combination of off-the-shelf applications and bespoke products, we provide effective digital solutions to ease the burden of manual processes so that efforts can instead be channelled into navigating the modern-day Tax landscape.
We partner with clients and internal stakeholders across various industries to understand their business landscape and needs, adopting a data-driven approach in driving value creation. By combining our industry expertise and technology-powered solutions, we are able to harness the power of information to optimise business performance and commercialise data opportunities.
How will you value-add?
A career in our Digital Tax Unit will provide you with the opportunity to work on Tax technology strategy and solutions. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Process and Controls Enhancement: Re-design and deploy streamlined tax processes including new technology solutions with clear roles and responsibilities, standardized work processes, proper controls embedded to manage risks.
Data and Systems Effectiveness: Embed the needs of Tax into IT systems to increase automation and data quality throughout tax processes; automate tax processing, tax compliance and reporting through various tax technologies.
User Experience: Be responsible for the usability and suitability of the IT systems / solutions
Work with the team to propose the best suitable technological solutions to improve clients’ tax and accounting processes;
Detect clients’ needs by designing and implementing advanced technologies to solve complex business problems.
Manage end-to-end projects by clarifying requirements and devise research approaches
Stay on top of current business and industry trends
About you
Recognised Degree in any discipline and/or relevant Post Graduate/Professional Qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or related field;
Good understanding of web technologies
A keen interest and experience in using technology to solve important problems
Experience with development and/or implementation of tax technology solution
Experience with software engineering, project management knowledge Knowledge and database systems (e.g, MS SQL, Postgre SQL, Oracle)
Knowledge and experience in RPA software (e.g., Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UiPath)
Knowledge and experience in business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx, PoweBI)
Knowledge of machine learning algorithm with Python and ‘R’ codes
Ability to work effectively and be hands-on in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Displaying thorough written/verbal communication skills and using presentation specialization to convey complex ideas to client & internal staff.
