We are looking for a Director, Treasury Accounting to join our world-class team in Santa Clara, CA. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to be part of a dynamic group that is instrumental in crafting the future of AI and computing. Your expertise will help drive flawless execution in treasury accounting, ensuring that we maintain our outstanding standards and continue to lead the industry. This position requires an organized and initiative-taking person with strong drive and skills to be a subject matter expert in all treasury accounting related matters. As a Director, Treasury Accounting, you will oversee the accounting and controls for our global cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities, foreign exchange and hedge accounting, and the accounting impact of treasury systems.
What you will doing:
Review and lead the monthly and quarterly accounting activities for cash, investments and hedging including closing and 10Q/10K footnotes
Monitor and track all global cash and investment balances for proper classification and accounting treatment
Partner with Treasury and Strategic Planning teams to ensure proper accounting and cash flow treatment for existing and planned transactions
Lead treasury accounting system implementations, including designing the workflow and testing. Partner with other teams to assess treasury accounting impact of upstream changes
Maintain compliance with SOX controls and our treasury policy
Continuous assessment of our policies and procedures and adherence globally
Find opportunities to solve problems, enhance existing processes or procedures to improve control, measurement and/or productivity
What we need to see:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience from a leading university in Finance or Accounting
Active CPA license
12+ overall years of public accounting and/or related industry accounting experience
5+ years of people leadership experience
Experience in a company with complex treasury transactions in a SOX-compliant environment
Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Organized and thorough with the desire for continuous improvement
Outstanding leadership skills with a proven record of mentoring and developing teams
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Deep understanding of Investment Portfolio accounting
Experience with SAP, Clearwater and CapellaFX is a plus
Experience collaborating across a large organization to influence and inspire change

The base salary range is 208,000 USD - 345,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
