We are seeking an innovative and analytical Energy Manager Building Technology (m/f/d) for our team in Hamburg, Germany. This role involves optimizing energy consumption and implementing sustainable practices in building technology. Responsibilities include developing energy management strategies, monitoring building performance, identifying savings, managing automation systems, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, reporting on energy metrics, and staying updated on new technologies.
Must have:
  • Develop and implement energy management strategies to reduce consumption and costs.
  • Monitor and analyze building energy performance using modern systems.
  • Identify and propose energy saving opportunities through detailed audits.
  • Manage and optimize building automation systems for efficiency.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement energy-saving initiatives and projects.
  • Ensure compliance with energy efficiency regulations and standards.
  • Generate comprehensive reports on energy consumption and metrics.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and best practices in building energy management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Lead and coordinate energy-related training programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, energy management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in energy management or related field.
  • Proven track record of implementing successful energy-saving initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of building energy systems and sustainability practices.
  • Proficiency in energy management and building automation systems.
  • Experience with energy audits, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Excellent project management skills, managing multiple projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent English skills.
  • Willingness to stay informed about energy efficiency regulations and trends.
Good to have:
  • Professional certification such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or LEED AP preferred
  • Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and energy simulation software
  • German language skills are a plus

We are looking for an innovative and analytical Energy Manager Building Technology (m/f/d) to strengthen our team in Hamburg, Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing energy consumption and implementing sustainable practices in our building technology.

  • Develop and implement energy management strategies to reduce energy consumption and costs.
  • Monitor and analyze the energy performance of buildings using modern energy management systems.
  • Identify and propose energy saving opportunities through detailed audits and evaluations.
  • Manage and optimize building automation systems to improve energy efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with energy efficiency regulations and sustainability standards.
  • Generate comprehensive reports on energy consumption, savings, and sustainability metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and best practices in building energy management.

  • Lead and coordinate energy-related training programs for employees and building users.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, energy management, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or LEED AP preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in energy management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of implementing successful energy-saving initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of building energy systems, renewable energy technologies, and sustainability practices.
  • Proficiency in energy management systems and building automation technologies.
  • Experience with energy audits, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and energy simulation software.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
  • Willingness to stay informed about energy efficiency regulations and industry trends.
