Job Description

The Enterprise Cloud Architect will drive cloud design and technical delivery across infrastructure, networking, operations, and application migrations on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires providing technical direction and design leadership to ensure predictable technical outcomes for workload migrations, considering technical and delivery constraints. The architect will engage with executive leadership (Chief Architects, CTOs, CISOs, CIOs) as an advisor, building confidence and aligning IT strategy with business needs. Responsibilities include influencing strategic decision-making for technology transformation, developing industry-centric accelerators, providing cross-functional technical advice, and ensuring predictable business value through strategic architecture and technical blueprints for cloud, data, and AI solutions.

Must have:

7+ years customer-facing experience translating enterprise needs into cloud solutions
Experience leading cloud transformations in enterprise financial services
Fluency in English and Arabic
Experience creating designs across cross-functional domains
Drive cloud design and technical delivery

Good to have:

Experience creating solution architecture for various financial services workloads
Experience leading diverse teams on cloud migration engagements
Experience engaging product organizations and influencing product strategy
Experience creating technology strategy and implementation approaches for large migration programs

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
7 years of experience in customer-facing services focused on translating enterprise customer needs into cloud solutions.
Experience in leading cloud transformations in enterprise financial services organizations.
Experience creating designs across various cross-functional domains.
Ability to communicate fluently in English and Arabic to work with customers in Saudi Arabia.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in creating solution architecture for various financial services workloads and considering the operational needs of an organization.
Experience leading diverse teams including engineers, architects, and technical consultants on cloud migration engagements.
Experience in engaging product organization and influencing others to work on product features to drive the overall product strategy and roadmap
Experience creating technology strategy, capability roadmaps, and implementation approaches for large migration programs.

Responsibilities

Drive the cloud design and technical delivery across infrastructure, networking, operations, application migrations by providing technical direction and design thought leadership, thereby ensuring predictable technical outcomes for workload migrations to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) considering the technical and delivery constraints.
Engage with Chief Architects, CTOs, CISOs and CIOs, and act as an executive technical advisor to build confidence and organize overall IT strategy aligned to the broader business needs.
Influence tactical and strategic decision making for a technology transformation journey.
Drive industry centric accelerators/assets/pov to create broader impact across the industry in a specific domain or a technology area.
Provide credible advice by leveraging cross-functional technical and functional domains.
