Responsibilities include detecting and mitigating fraud, analyzing suspicious transactions, and collaborating with financial institutions. Job Responsibilities :

Fraud & Transaction Monitoring

The Fraud Analyst acts as the First Line of Defense to detect and mitigate fraud in the FIUU's Online & Offline business. The fraud and transaction monitoring scope covers Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia.

  • ​To attend, review, and analyze suspicious/suspected fraudulent transaction promptly with accurate fraud risk assessment.
  • To make own sound judgment and close the alerts trigger in the Fraud Monitoring System.
  • To perform suspicious transaction verification with the merchant and Financial Institution if require.
  • Promptly, update the suspicious transaction alerts in the suspicious file for further follow-up action.
  • Performing Blacklist and Whitelist of the user and merchant information in the backend system.
  • Alert the Senior Analyst and HOD if there is unusual activity or early fraud signs.
  • Conduct merchant investigation and prepare the investigation report to HOD.
  • Handles incoming emails, alert notifications, and inquiries from PDRM, SPF, NSRC, Card Schemes, Channel Partners, etc.

Pre-Requisites :

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Bachelor's degree, in any field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 1+ years in fraud monitoring/ investigation and/or dispute review; banking experience is an advantage.
  • Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply, training and guidance will be provided.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Handles challenges independently and can pivot quickly when necessary
  • Results-driven; and delivers the goals to stipulated timeline.
  • Able to travel to I-City, Shah Alam.
