Job Description

A career in PwC's Internal Audit Services offers the opportunity to understand an organization's objectives, risk management, and stakeholder needs. The role involves improving and embedding controls by addressing risks and adding value. Responsibilities include applying Internal Audit/Process Audit concepts, utilizing the COSO framework, understanding internal control concepts (preventive, detective, anti-fraud), and working with IT systems. Collaboration with stakeholders is crucial for developing recommendations. The candidate should document findings, propose solutions addressing root causes, and contribute to timely task completion and client deliverables. Experience with SOX and relevant laws (e.g., Income Tax Act 1967, Companies Act 1956) is needed. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading a team or working within one.

Responsibilities:

•Experience in Internal Audit/ Process Audit concepts & methodology

•COSO Framework

•Processes, Sub-processes, and Activities as well as their relationship

•Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX)

•Internal control concepts (e.g., Preventive Controls; Detective Controls; Anti-fraud Controls; etc.)

•IT System(s) in use/ ERP Environment

•Other applicable common laws (e.g., Income Tax Act 1967, Companies Act 1956, Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, etc.)

•Comfortable working on an IC model or leading a team of Specialist/ Associate

•Collaboration with the different stakeholders on the complex assessment issues to develop possible recommendations

•Documents findings and proposes recommendations that deal with root cause of issues and impact to the organization

•Should be able to assist with the timely completion of tasks, development of client deliverables and status reporting. GRCAPM
