Job Description & Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned professional with a strong background in Network
Security and scripting to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in the Network
Security domain and 1+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Python. The role involves conducting
in-depth analyses of computer networks to identify vulnerabilities, administering various security products like
firewalls, IDS/IPS, Azure Firewalls, NSGs, Application Gateways, and WAFs, and managing firewalls, routers, and
VPNs. The candidate should have exposure to Linux and/or Windows Operating Systems, coding languages, and
network environments, along with a solid understanding of networking concepts including LAN, WAN, TCP/IP,
web protocols, and cyber-attacks. Proficiency with network assessment tools like nmap, Angry IP, and Metasploit
is also required. Preferred candidates will have additional certifications, advanced knowledge of security tools,
experience in managing large-scale security projects, cloud security expertise (AWS or Google Cloud), strong
problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities. This role demands continuous learning and staying
updated with the latest cybersecurity trends to ensure the highest standards of network security across diverse
platforms.
Responsibilities: Maintaining & implementation of the SOP for Network
security
Management of (Network Intrusion Detection System)
NIDS appliances and Design of NIDS policy on basis of
snort signatures mapped to application network flows.
Configuring and implementing intrusion detection system
across the organization.
Evaluate security risks by analyzing application architecture
and network flows and present solutions for secure network
design.
Firewall configuration review for risky rules and network
assurance.
Act on the IPS/IDS, Firewalls, Switch, router impact alerts.
Mandatory skill sets: 3+ years' experience in Network Security.
1+ years' experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python).
Conduct in-depth network analysis and identify
vulnerabilities.
Expertise in firewalls, IDS/IPS, Firewall Analyzers, Azure
Firewalls, NSGs, Application gateways, WAF.
Administer firewalls, routers, VPNs, and security tools.
Exposure to Linux/Windows Operating Systems, coding
languages, and networks.
Knowledge of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, web protocols, and
network cyber-attacks.
Proficient with network assessment/recon tools (nmap,
Angry IP, Metasploit).
Preferred skill sets:
Additional network security expertise or certifications.
Advanced knowledge of specific security tools and
technologies.
Experience managing large-scale network security projects.
Cloud security experience (AWS, Google Cloud).
Strong problem-solving and independent work skills.
Excellent communication skills for reporting and
collaboration.
Continuous learning and awareness of latest cyber security
trends.
