Job Description:
What will you work on?
Working as a member of the IT Business Office within the Global Office of Information Technology for Spin Master Ltd, the Integration Specialist will have responsibility for developing and supporting business application integrations within our Integration Platform.
How will you create impact?
- Effectively lead the integration development operations on a project by project basis.
- Identifying integration requirements between enterprise application, customer and logistic partner systems.
- Develop integrations using various connection protocols within an integration platform as a service (iPaaS).
- Manage tickets as related to all integrations (investigation, troubleshooting, escalation, resolution, reporting and analysis of incidents)
- Creating detailed designs to solve business requirements through integration at an enterprise level.
- Identify the business processes that can be automated using integration.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather integration requirements, understand the system and business processes, and collaborate to implement a solution.
- Responsible for ensuring that all deliverables meet iPaaS technology and project standards.
- Interact with technical team members such as Data Engineers, SAP Functional Analysts, Web Developers, and Network Engineers to ensure technical requirements are addressed.
- Become an expert for the integration team to work with on our iPaaS platform and continuously learn about features released and make suggestions to improve our landscape.
- Create a solid technical foundation for our business customers to achieve success with our platform.
- Lead Integration calls and set expectations required for all parties involved in the integration process.
What are your skills and experience?
- Experience developing integrations using the Boomi cloud integration platform.
- Experience or understanding of as many of these related areas as possible: XML messaging structure, Web services, SOAP and REST APIs, SAP integration services, and Data Warehousing integration.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP system is an asset.
- Experience working with Google BigQuery or another Enterprise Data Warehouse platform is an asset.
- Experience in Toy Industry or Consumer Packaged Goods industry is an asset.
- In depth knowledge of iPaaS integration with the Boomi platform.
- Knowledge in various API technologies, and IPaaS integration standards.
- Experience planning and leading projects in a developer role.
