Job Description

The Regional Marketing Intern at Disney Consumer Products will support the SEA & India team in planning and executing marketing strategies. Responsibilities include managing campaigns for Zootopia 2, Zootopia's 10th Anniversary, Winnie the Pooh's 100th Anniversary, and the Marvel 2025 Influencer Programme. This involves coordinating across markets, developing social media strategies, influencer outreach, AR activations, and creating campaign reports. The intern will also contribute to retail and digital marketing campaigns, ideate marketing activations, and manage assets. The role requires strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills, alongside a passion for Disney brands and the retail/marketing industry.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing/related field
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, Keynote
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Social media expertise
  • Campaign planning & execution
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of Digital Marketing/Visual Merchandising
  • Experience with social media influencers
  • AR/VR experience

Disney Consumer Products (DCP) is the business segment that brings stories and characters to life through innovative and engaging physical products and digital experiences across more than 100 product categories. The Regional Marketing Intern would provide creative and administrative support to the Regional Marketing team.

This role will gain exposure in the planning and execution of marketing and communication strategies and activities, collaborating across other lines of businesses in Disney in the delivery of integrated consumer product marketing initiatives across Southeast Asia & India.

The role will be responsible for the marketing campaign planning and deployment of Zootopia 2 and Marvel 2025 Influencer Programme as well as Zootopia 10th Anniversary and Winnie the Pooh 100th Anniversary. The position will be providing advice on the planning and implementation of digital and retail campaign ideas and will be coordinating all aspects of operational workflows across the region ensuring all country marketing teams within the region are activating the campaigns and have all assets and information to successfully deploy this campaign locally.

Responsibilities:

Dedicated Project: Zootopia 2, Zootopia 10th Anniversary, Winnie the Pooh 100th Anniversary & Marvel 2025 Influencer Programme

  • Coordinate the campaign across all markets for SEA & India
  • Formulate social media engagement strategies
  • Execute organic/paid social media content plan to give exposure to regional and local licensees
  • Research on suitable influencers for a seeding outreach
  • Deploy AR experiences for a social UGC activation across all markets for SEA & India

Supporting:

DCP Retail Marketing Campaigns

  • Ideate marketing activations for upcoming campaigns
  • Update and maintain campaign calendars
  • Build signature campaign decks in accordance to TWDC design templates
  • Manage the assets and distribution to key stakeholders
  • Post—campaign reporting: Analyse results of the campaigns and share with markets as best practice

DCP Digital Marketing Campaigns

  • Research on latest digital trends relevant to Disney
  • Ideate/lead brainstorming of digital content ideas for each campaign
  • Vendor liaison responsibilities to ensure projects adhere to timelines and budgets
  • End to end Project management of digital content involving both internal and external stakeholders

Overall

  • Actively participate and support brainstorming sessions, business reviews and campaign reviews
  • Think creatively to produce new concepts/ideas, while working with available assets
  • Liaise with different lines of business and learn synergy for marketing campaigns

Internship Requirements:

  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree
  • Still an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship period
  • Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between July to December 2025

Requirements:

  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Design, or a related field
  • Knowledge or interest in Digital Marketing and/or Visual Merchandising is a plus
  • Active user of social media channels who stays up to date on trends and new developments
  • Interest or fan mentality for our brands and characters
  • Highly self-motivated and meticulous with a strong passion for retail and marketing
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving organizations, and to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
  • Strong team player; possesses good interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm in collaborating in cross functional teams
  • Adopts a challenging and questioning approach, proposing information and solutions in creative ways
  • Passionate team player with a never-ending curiosity
  • Self-starter that needs minimal supervision in motivating himself/herself, always looking for opportunities to contribute to our campaigns and overall projects.
  • Ability to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Strategic thinker with good communications skills
  • Creative mindset with the ability to leverage on data to develop strategy/decisions
  • Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop and Keynote
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
