The Senior Product Manager will lead the development and growth of PayPal’s agent commerce initiatives, focusing on building seamless integration experiences and driving adoption. Key responsibilities include designing and executing integration strategies with leading LLM providers, collaborating with engineering teams, managing partner relationships, defining integration standards, leading product development, defining product requirements, collaborating with UX/UI teams, working closely with engineering, developing GTM strategies, driving adoption initiatives, analyzing product metrics, creating and executing launch plans, monitoring the competitive landscape, and conducting customer research. The role requires a strong understanding of the AI agent and commerce landscape.
Must have:
  • 6+ years of Product Management experience in Fintech or e-commerce
  • Experience with API products and developer focused tools
  • Strong technical background with ability to work closely with engineering teams

Senior Product Manager: Agent Commerce

We are on a mission to be the leading Agentic Commerce provider globally. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Technical Product Manager to join our Agent Commerce team to lead the development and growth of PayPal’s agent commerce initiatives. The role sits at the intersection of cutting-edge AI technology and commerce innovation, focusing on building seamless integration experiences and driving adoption of our agent tools that enable the future of autonomous commerce. As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will establish a vision, define the business case, define the end-to-end use case, refine the roadmap, and drive execution with urgency. We are looking for someone with a passion for commerce and AI and has good understanding of the current AI agent and commerce landscape.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

 

Partner Integrations:

·      Design and execute integration strategies with leading LLM and Agentic providers to enable frictionless commerce experiences within AI applications.

·      Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical requirements, API specifications and integration architectures that ensure scalable secure and performant solutions.

·      Manage partner relationships with LLM companies, serving as primary product liaison to align on roadmaps, requirements and joint go-to-market initiatives.

·      Define integration standards and best practices that enable rapid onboarding of new partners while maintaining consistent user experiences.

 

Agent Tools Development and Product Strategy:

·      Lead Product Development of PayPal’s agent commerce tools, from conception through launch and iteration

·      Define product requirements based on market research, customer feedback and strategic business objectives

·      Collaborate with UX/UI teams to design intuitive interfaces for both developers integrating our tools and end users engaging with agent commerce experiences

·      Work closely with engineering to prioritize features, manage technical trade-offs, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products

 

Growth, Adoption & Go-to-Market

·      Develop comprehensive GTM strategies for agent commerce tools, including positioning, messaging and channel strategies.

·      Drive adoption initiatives through product-led-growth tactics, developer evangelism and strategic partnerships

·      Analyze product metrics and user behavior to identify growth opportunities and optimize conversion funnels.

·      Create and execute launch plans for new features and products, coordinating across marketing, sales, partnerships and customer success teams.

 

Market Intelligence & Strategy

·      Monitor competitive landscape and emerging trends in AI commerce, conversational commerce and autonomous agents.

·      Conduct customer research including customer interviews, surveys and data analysis to understand market needs and validate product hypotheses

·      Present to executive leadership on product performance, market opportunities, and strategic recommendations

·      Develop business use cases for new initiatives, including ROI projections and resource requirements.

 

Required Qualifications: 

·       6+ years of experience in Product Management, preferable in fintech, e-commerce, or AI/ML products

·       Experience with API products and developer focused tools

·       Strong technical background with ability to work closely with engineering teams

·       Proven track record of successful product launches and growth initiatives

·       Experience with B2B and platform products

The US national annual pay range for this role is $152,500 to $262,350
