Job Description
The Legal Specialist, Employment Litigation at Google will manage and organize legal information and documentation, conduct legal reviews and investigations, advise clients on risks, and support Legal Operations. This role involves working with internal and external stakeholders on transactional and corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, compliance, and governance. Responsibilities include conducting investigations in response to discovery requests and managing legal matters with varying degrees of risk. The specialist will also develop and implement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of legal services and procedures. A Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in a law firm, government, or in-house legal department are required. Excellent problem-solving skills are essential.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Manage and organize information and documentation, draft, review and legal documentation. Conduct legal reviews, due diligence, and investigations, advise clients on risks, and support other areas of Legal Operations.
- Work with cross-functional internal clients, stakeholders, and external parties to oversee transactional and corporate matters, managing transactional and corporate closing mechanics, post closing integrations, administrations, reorganizations, and corporate governance and compliance matters.
- Conduct investigations and diligence to gather information, documents, and data in response to discovery, regulatory agency, and other third-parties requests and diligence matters, and manage legal matters involving some degree of risk for internal clients and external parties (e.g., compliance and governance, mergers and acquisitions, complaints, information requests, etc.).
- Develop and implement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of services, policies, and procedures, and review/analyze data and make recommendations.
