Salesforce Inc.  seeks Manager, Software Engineering in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Design and deliver code for Salesforce products and features. Lead the delivery of feature development by multiple software engineers. Provide oversight through code and design reviews for features delivered by other developers within each scrum team. Assist with architecture, quality, product, and process beyond the immediate scrum team. Develop test plans and test automation for features and products. Verify the quality of the code delivered through manual and automated testing and extend the automation framework where necessary. Collaborate with senior developers, Quality teams, PM, and UX to ensure features are delivered to meet business and quality requirements. Write scalable, performance code that customers love. Drive architectural initiatives, balancing long-term platform velocity with short-term customer needs. Design, build and deliver enterprise-grade scalable applications that would bemulti-tenant and multi-substrate. Negotiate and honor cross-team agreements. Master the development process and culture, and then improve it. Support product deployments to the production environment. Utilize knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming and design patterns. Grow and mentor other members of the team to gain expertise and adoption of best practices. Telecommuting is an option. 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field. 

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: At least two years of experience with the following: (1) PL/SQL; (2) Java Core; (3) Android SDK; (4) Servlets; (5) XML; (6) AJAX; (7) Oracle; (8) Eclipse; (9) JUnit; (10) Linux; (11) Javascript; and (12) Git. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. 

Salary: $157,600.00 - $258,000.00 per annum.
