Job Description:

We are looking for a Marketing Program Manager to join Candy Crush Saga’s Marketing Strategy & Operations team to enable the transformation of strategic business and marketing initiatives into a reality for our 150 million players. This role plays a key part in the delivery of King’s business and marketing objectives by developing and managing comprehensive operational plans across a portfolio of initiatives and cross-functional teams to keep everyone, and everything, on track for success.

Your role within the Kingdom

As Marketing Program Manager, you will oversee the success of all initiatives in marketing through systematic scoping, prioritising, resourcing, tracking, and reporting on progress, both internally in Marketing and with senior stakeholders across the business. This is a highly visible and dynamic role where one minute you’ll be confirming the technical requirements to launch that new product personalisation feature, and the next you’ll be following up on the shoot progress for the latest Candy Crush-themed music video for a top-10 artist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the program of marketing initiatives, meaning you are responsible for the overall delivery of our strategy and objectives through our portfolio of initiatives, as opposed to the delivery of one single project.

  • Own program process, routines, governance, dependency management ,and continuous improvement to maintain a cohesive program flow.

  • Manage a holistic view of risks and issues, taking corrective action, where necessary.

  • Scope and prioritise incoming marketing requests across all business areas, including the. 

  • Spin up new projects by identifying delivery expectations, scoping work, creating marketing strategy proposals  alongside relevant team members, and resourcing appropriately.

  • Driving stakeholder engagement including, but not limited to, stakeholder mapping, communications and meeting routines, expectation management, as well as conflict resolution, where needed.

You are a highly adaptable, organised, and collaborative operations person who thrives on getting stuff done by implementing processes and building strong relationships.

Other skills include:

  • Strong experience in marketing program management or delivering multiple marketing projects in tandem across numerous functions.

  • Experience with marketing operations, with particular focus on enablement, process, governance, and continuous improvement.

  • Understanding of marketing strategies and channels in a mobile-first company, including some/all of the following: product marketing, TV advertising, out-of-home media, sponsorships, brand partnerships, CRM, email marketing, PR, Social.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact and influence across a large number of teams at all levels of the organisation (including C-level).

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to manage differing expectations.

  • Ability to prioritise between multiple requests and challenge thinking where needed

  • Know how to balance breadth and depth of involvement with initiatives in line with your responsibilities.

  • Independent delivery - if you see something that needs done, roll your sleeves up and dive in!

  • Ability to work in a fast-moving, ever changing, and often ambiguous, environment.
