Job Description

This role focuses on Performance and Reward Management within Human Resources. Key responsibilities include advising management on performance review implementation, establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies for performance management, and communicating these effectively to staff. The specialist will manage performance cases by analyzing documents and data, collaborating with HR Business Partners to ensure a standardized approach, and proactively preventing performance issues. Additionally, the role involves designing, building, and implementing total rewards processes, policies, and programs aligned with business and HR strategy. This includes collaborating on incentive systems, benchmarking remuneration and benefits, conducting salary studies, and designing health and wellness programs.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR Management or related field
  • Minimum seven years of experience in HR management
  • Proven experience in Performance Management role
  • Experience in compensation and rewards management
  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles and best practices
  • Experience handling confidential and complex performance management cases
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and coordinate across diverse teams
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills

Job Description

Performance Management

  • Reviews and advises Management team on effective approaches to implementing the Performance Management review
  • Establishes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) & policy for Performance Management
  • Deliver effective communications on Performance Management SOP and policy to the staff, ensuring that they understand how they will be evaluated
  • Ensures effective management of the Performance Management cases; leads the analysis of documents, data, and other inputs from relevant sources, rules, policies, and precedents to handle the performance management cases properly and effectively; collaborates and coordinates with HR Business Partner to ensure standard approach
  • Proactively engages with HR Business Partners and line managers in fostering good Performance Management across the organization and preventing performance management issues
  • Continually research and incorporate HR best practice into the company performance management and evaluation systems

Reward:

  • Design, Build and Implement Total rewards processes, policies, programs in alignment with Business and HR strategy
  • Collaborate with the Compensation Benefit team to develop framework for implementing enhanced Incentive systems
  • Compare remuneration & benefits with other comparable organizations (benchmarking)
  • Conduct salary studies to support recommendations on compensation structure that aligns to the market/industry range and meets the budget
  • Design benefits, including health and wellness programmes that would meet the needs of the staffs and the company budget

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR Management or a related field
  • At least seven years of progressively responsible professional experience in human resources management or related functions
  • Proven experience as an Performance Management role
  • Experience in compensation and rewards management, preferably within the financial services industry
  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles, market trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices
  • Experience in dealing with confidential issues and/or complex/sensitive cases relating to performance management & remunerations as well as in leading performance management & reward initiatives
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and coordinate across diverse teams and leaders
  • Mature, resilient, with strong people relating skills and empathy; focused on solutions; communicates effectively to various audiences
  • Strong excel and skills for data analysis
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with HR and cross-functional teams
  • Proactive mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
